Mo, 37, a Los Angeles-based makeup artist who specializes in the “ugly stuff” for films, has been nominated for an Emmy as part of the makeup team for American Horror Story (AHS): 1984, the show’s ninth season. The recognition is for the season’s seventh episode, “The Lady in White,” which first aired Oct. 30, 2019. Along with three of her colleagues, Mo received the nomination in the “Outstanding Period and/or Character Makeup (non-prosthetic)” category.
