/> The course will depend on the interest of the artist, but our most comprehensive educational programs are the Complete Track and Master Makeup Program.</p><p>2.	What is the difference between the Master Makeup Program and the Complete Track?<br
/> The Complete Track is a 28-week program that includes all 9 classes offered at Cinema Makeup School. The Master Makeup Program is an 18-week long program consisting of 4 classes. All classes included in the Master Makeup Program are included in the 	Complete Track.</p><p>3.	Is Cinema Makeup School accredited?</p><p>No, we are not a title IV school and are not accredited. We are approved by BPPE (California Bureau for Private Postsecondary Education)</p><p>4.	What are the requirements for enrollment?</p><p>No prior training or experience is necessary to attend Cinema Makeup School and take most of the course. The only requirement is a high school diploma, GED, or certificate of higher education.</p><p>Courses that require prerequisites to take are as follow:</p><p>Advanced Beauty Theory requires completing High Fashion or the submission of a portfolio demonstrating prior beauty experience.</p><p>Advanced Lab Techniques requires completing Prosthetics or the submission of a portfolio demonstrating prior experience.</p><p>5.	Do you provide Financial Aid or Payment Plans?</p><p>We are not eligible to receive financial aid, so we offer an internal payment plan option. Payments can be spread over a 5 to 36-month period with a down payment. We also do in-house financing up and provide longer-term financing with an outside private lender. We are also eligible to receive veteran&#8217;s benefits for education. Our admissions team will be happy to go over all these options in detail with you and choose the best one for your situation.</p><p>6.	Do you accept International Students? Is a Visa required?</p><p>Yes, we accept international students and will help them through the visa process. They need to obtain an M-1 visa and we will provide them with I-20 form for that reason.</p><p>7.	How many students are there per class?</p><p>Classes normally range from 15-20 students maximum.</p><p>8.	What are the class hours?</p><p>Class runs from 9AM PST to 4PM PST on average. Classes such as Advanced Beauty Theory and Advanced Lab Techniques are from 9AM to 5PM PST. Digital Effects, Z-Brush, and Creature Maquette run from 8:30AM-4:30PM.</p><p>9.	Do you offer night classes?</p><p>No, we do not offer night classes.</p><p>10.	Do I need a license to become a makeup artist?</p><p>No, you do not need a license to practice makeup in the television or film industry, but you would need certifications to do makeup in salon. To work in a salon, you would need either a cosmetology, or esthetician license.</p><p>11.	What if I am a beginner at makeup?</p><p>All courses at Cinema Makeup School are designed for artists of all skill levels. No prior knowledge is required.</p><p>12.	Will I get a makeup kit to use for my classes?</p><p>Yes. We have all the materials you need included in our total cost.</p><p>13.	Are there any additional products I need to buy?</p><p>Students will be provided with a list of some additional items they will need for their program or courses. Examples include hair styling tools, Avant-guard elements for beauty makeup designs, synthetic hairs (if they take Advanced Lab Techniques) and more.</p><p>14.	How many students do you allow in each class?</p><p>Our class size varies anywhere between 14-20 students</p><p>15.	Who will we work on for our makeup techniques?</p><p> Students will work on their classmates. There will be a partner list available in the classes that includes all students, and they will be assigned to work with every person in the class. There are a few days that you are required to find a model. Those dates will be assigned according to your track.</p><p>16.	As a student, will I have Makeup applied to me?</p><p>Yes. Students will work on each other for the entirety of the course. This means you will have makeup applied to you frequently. If you have sensitive skin or allergies to any products, please inform the staff beforehand.</p><p>17.	Will we have the same instructor for each class?</p><p> Our instructors are working professionals and each one specializes in a certain subject. Students may have multiple instructors for their classes.</p><p>18.	Can I bring a friend/family member to class to practice on?</p><p> If the class number is odd or some of the models are absent, students can get approval from their instructors or the administrative staff to bring a friend/family to the class to practice on, only. Models and guests are not allowed to stay during the time of lectures or demonstrations.</p><p>19.	Will I receive a diploma at the end of my program?</p><p> Depending on the course or program students will be taking, they will be eligible to receive a certificate of completion or diploma upon graduation.</p><p>20.	After I graduate, will I be eligible for any makeup discounts?</p><p> Yes, there are certain makeup brands and stores that have pro memberships or offer discounts to makeup artists. By submitting the diploma or certificate students get after graduation, they can get those offers.</p><p>21.	Will we receive our images from our photoshoot?</p><p>Yes, all students&#8217; photos are being captured at the school and will be uploaded on a website where they can access their photos within a day or two.</p><p>22.	How often do you start a new class?</p><p>We have start dates for our program and courses every month. A full schedule is listed HERE. Please contact our admissions team to get more details.</p><p>23.	What If I decide the Course is not right for me?<br
/> Student has the right to cancel the Enrollment Agreement and obtain a refund of charges paid through attendance of the first class session or the seventh day after enrollment, whichever is later<br

/> Cinema Makeup School (CMS) does not provide automatic job placement to graduates, however we do have a plethora of wonderful opportunities available to our alumni network that can be valuable when conducting your job search following the completion of our educational programs. /> Unfortunately, due to the pandemic, we have had to put our internship programs on hold for the moment. We are excited to have these opportunities return in the near future!<br
